About Silas

You’ll learn how to lock into rhythm, jam with style, and play songs that really speak to you. I support students who dream of performing, recording, or simply playing with heart. With 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, I guide students through a holistic learning journey that goes beyond the fretboard. My method weaves together movement-based practices like the Alexander Technique and breathwork to promote ease, posture, and physical awareness. Visual tools such as diagrams and fretboard maps make complex theory accessible and clear.
I use auditory playbacks to sharpen your ear and deepen your musical intuition. Technique is built thoughtfully and gradually, with special attention to body alignment and efficient movement. I also support students in managing performance anxiety through mindfulness strategies and confidence-building exercises. Whether you're preparing for a recital or just playing for joy, I help you feel grounded and expressive.
