About David

My teaching approach is all about making guitar fun and accessible—especially for beginners. I design lessons that are playful, colorful, and engaging right from the start. We use color-coded tabs, simple melodies, and rhythm games to build confidence and excitement early on. Each session includes finger muscle warm-ups and listening exercises to sharpen coordination and ear training. We’ll also explore sound pattern recognition, helping you connect what you hear to what you play. Strumming becomes a game, not a task, with challenges that keep you moving while smiling. I work especially well with students who thrive when learning feels like fun but still has structure. If you need step-by-step guidance, gentle motivation, and emotional connection to stay inspired, you’re in the right place. Every milestone big or small is celebrated. About the lesson

With over 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies, I specialize in helping adult learners reconnect with music. Many of my students are returning to the guitar after years—or even decades—away, and I understand the unique challenges and excitement that come with that journey.

My approach is supportive, encouraging, and rooted in the belief that it’s never too late to start or to play better than ever. I offer flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle and create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can learn at your own pace.

Whether you want to revisit your favorite songs, develop improvisation skills, or dive into music theory, I tailor each session to your goals. Progress is personal, and I’m here to guide you step-by-step, celebrating growth along the way.
