About Fiifi

I am Fiifi Fawoma Aubbin, the Founder and President of Fawoma IT Training Service (FITTS). My mission is to empower individuals with essential digital skills and prepare them for globally recognised certifications. With over eight years of experience as an IT educator and Certiport Authorised Test Centre Administrator, I have helped countless students and professionals achieve their ICT goals and advance their careers. At FITTS, I develop and deliver learning and exam preparation materials tailored to various certification programmes from Certiport Inc., a Pearson-VUE business. I also manage candidate registrations, and market certification opportunities, and oversee the administration of both assessment and certification exams, ensuring every learner experiences professionalism and support throughout their journey. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching ICT at several top-tier schools in Ghana, including British International School, Association International School and Ghana Christian International High School. My passion for teaching has led to the successful training and certification of over 300 students and professionals in programmes like Microsoft Office Specialist. Beyond the classroom, my work has extended to higher education institutions such as Mfantseman Institute of Technology, Cape Coast Technical University, and the University of Cape Coast. I’ve had the honour of equipping students at these institutions with critical IT skills that meet global standards, preparing them to thrive in today’s competitive workforce. Using the GMetrix Skills Management System to Teach and Prepare for Certification Exams As a seasoned instructor with over eight years of experience using the GMetrix Skills Management System, I have trained and proctored more than 300 certification exams since 2015. My approach combines practical application, customised instruction, and a focus on building confidence to help students and workers develop essential office skills and achieve certification success. Techniques and Teaching Methodology I use a hands-on, student-centred teaching approach, leveraging GMetrix’s features to provide interactive and practical training. Key techniques include: 1. Diagnostic Assessments: I begin with pre-assessments to gauge students’ strengths and areas for improvement. This allows me to tailor lessons to individual needs. 2. Step-by-Step Instruction: Lessons are structured to break down complex tasks into manageable steps, ensuring comprehension and mastery. 3. Scenario-Based Practice: Students work on real-world scenarios within the GMetrix environment to apply their skills in contexts similar to the certification exams. 4. Active Feedback and Support: I provide instant, constructive feedback, encouraging students to think critically and refine their approaches. 5.
