About Shardul

I am a music composer and producer who has worked on indie games and student films. I love to make music inspired by Nintendo games, Ghibli movies and classical greats like Tchaikovsky. I also play the piano, violin and harmonica for fun.

About the lesson

We will cover topics from all early to advanced levels of music education. Our classes will cover the following key skills.

A. Core Theory:
1. Notation Reading Skills
2. Music Theory
3. Music Composition (Melody, Harmony and Form)
4. Orchestration

B. Production:
1. Navigating your Daw
2. Understanding different VSTs
3. Exercises in Production

C. Guided practical projects in composition and production.

D. Breaking down and understanding other music.

Bonus: Learn how to play basic piano/keyboard skills!

You only need a computer to follow along, the free opensource software Musescore and the free version of FL Studio.

These classes are intended for anyone looking to start understanding music at a deeper level. Ranging from Ghibli to Zimmer, Classical to Pop, your journey starts here!
