About Maria Alice
My name is Maria Alice, and I specialize in decoding human behavior with data to solve complex business challenges. For over a decade, I've led growth and data strategies at major corporations like AB InBev, Itau, and Stone Co., and founded the startup NaHora.com, which I grew to 100,000 users before a successful exit. I built the People Analytics function at Ambev from scratch, creating analytical tools to measure engagement, improve leadership evaluations, and make our recruitment process more assertive. My background combines this deep, practical executive experience with academic rigor from UC Berkeley (Data Science) and my current research at the University of Oxford. My mission is to take these battle-tested frameworks out of the C-suite and put them into your hands. This knowledge isn't mine to keep, and I'm passionate about empowering the next generation of data-driven leaders. I have been mentoring business, tech, and data executives for the past years, directly, in mentoring and training sessions, and indirectly, through my own website, Maria Alice Maia.
