About Maria Alice

My name is Maria Alice, and I specialize in decoding human behavior with data to solve complex business challenges. For over a decade, I've led growth and data strategies at major corporations like AB InBev, Itau, and Stone Co., and founded the startup NaHora.com, which I grew to 100,000 users before a successful exit. I built the People Analytics function at Ambev from scratch, creating analytical tools to measure engagement, improve leadership evaluations, and make our recruitment process more assertive. My background combines this deep, practical executive experience with academic rigor from UC Berkeley (Data Science) and my current research at the University of Oxford. My mission is to take these battle-tested frameworks out of the C-suite and put them into your hands. This knowledge isn't mine to keep, and I'm passionate about empowering the next generation of data-driven leaders. I have been mentoring business, tech, and data executives for the past years, directly, in mentoring and training sessions, and indirectly, through my own website, Maria Alice Maia. If you are interested in understanding what kind of topic we can approach and to what grounds my expertise extends, feel free to read my public articles.

About the lesson

Are your HR and leadership decisions still based on intuition alone? In our lessons, we will move from guesswork to certainty, applying practical data frameworks to your most pressing challenges.

This is a 100% hands-on course focused on tangible results. You will not just learn theory; you will learn how to do.

In our sessions, you can learn to:

Measure the Immeasurable: Quantify abstract concepts like 'Employee Engagement,' 'Turnover Risk,' and 'Inclusion' to build a clear picture of your organizational health.

Build Your First People Analytics Dashboard: I'll guide you through the steps of structuring your data and using tools to visualize KPIs your leadership team will actually understand and use.

Design Data-Driven Recruitment: Apply predictive modeling concepts to improve the assertiveness of your hiring process, just as I did in my Green Belt project at Ambev.

Create Fairer, More Objective Evaluations: Learn the methodology behind building analytical tools for 360° leadership reviews, removing bias and improving transparency.

Translate Data into Business Strategy: Learn to analyze your findings and present them as an executable plan that drives real business value.

My methodology is case-based, practical, and fully customized to your specific professional goals.
