About Mariam
My name is Mariam Daakur. I am Brazilian, and I am excited to teach you. With over a decade of diverse experience in education and technology, I bring a robust academic background and extensive teaching expertise. I hold two Master’s degrees—one in Communication and Computer Engineering and another in Computer Engineering—as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Education, from the Abu Dhabi University. Professionally, I have served as a University Instructor in the Computer Science Department and as a teacher and Head of Subject for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Coding across international high schools in Lebanon, Egypt, and the Dominican Republic. Additionally, I have held the position of Section Head, where I successfully coordinated and managed teams to drive academic excellence. Currently, I am a high school ICT teacher at an American school in Abu Dhabi, where I teach courses in APCS, Java, Python, and AI.
