About Rafael
I have experience mainly with teaching classes, I taught 6 months at the CIUNI group in Diadema and for 1 year worked as a tutor for Classical Mechanics and Analytical courses. In general, my methods are as follows:
1) Encourage the student to understand why a particular subject is interesting, in general, in the sense of both its use and its philosophical development.
2) At first, I like to understand the difficulties and dialogue with the student in order to better answer his questions. I believe empathy is fundamental in this process.
3) Dynamic style of explanation; with diversity of examples and open to student participation. In general, for students with difficulty in concentrating it is important that they are active in the pedagogical process.
4) Exercising is critical for math and physics, as is learning to deal with the feeling of frustration and the difficulties inherent in the learning process of any content. I divide the exercises into two classes; those of fixation and those of 'imagination'. Both are usually present in exams, in courses and national exams. Fixation exercises are a little more trivial, they stimulate direct brain memory. Others require using concepts that are already fixed in a somewhat creative / intuitive way.
For students who want to take test boosters, it is extremely useful for the booster material to be in line with the classes: I DO NOT SOLVE WORKS, EXERCISES, OR PROOF LISTS! However, all of these features can be worked on and improved, including job presentation.

I live in Diadema (however I can give classes in São Paulo, or worldwide via web) and at the moment I dedicate all my time to scientific research, writing a dissertation (Quantum Contextuality) and studying two other languages (Italian and Swedish). I have a bachelor degree from University of São Paulo and I am in the last year of my Master degree, in the same institution. I lived also in Sweden for six months during the period of my ERASMUS+.

Details
Since for exchange students there is only the possibility of web lessons I will take for each lesson 20 dollars/euros per hour. If wanted I can also help with Portuguese conversations for those who want to learn it.
