About Jason
I have B.S. degrees in Physics and Biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a Master's in Chemical and Physical Biology from Vanderbilt University. I taught high school Physical Sciences through Teach For America, done 3 years of TA work in Physics and Organic Chemistry, and have over 10 years experience tutoring all levels of Math from Algebra I-Calc III, Physics from Physics I-Quantum Mechanics, and Chemistry from Chem I-Organic Chem II. I also have 7 years of research experience in various fields such as MRI programming, focused ultrasound, optical tweezers, analytical chemistry, and atomic force microscopy and was awarded the Merck Index Award in Organic Chemistry 2014.

I excel in breaking down complex topics into understandable pictures and analogies. In order to master a topic, you must be able to first have a clear picture of what is happening and how the system will evolve in time. And, often using these pictures, it becomes easier to simplify the problems with symmetries and organize the relevant information to know what equations will be most relevant.
