About Jaanhvee
Hello! My name is Jaanhvee, and I am an experienced English educator with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed in selective school admissions.
I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds and have several years of teaching experience supporting students across different levels, including Grammar School and 11+ entrance preparation.
I specialise in building key skills needed for competitive exams, such as:
Reading comprehension
Advanced grammar and vocabulary
Creative and persuasive writing
Exam technique and confidence under timed conditions
I believe every child learns differently, so my lessons are always personalised, structured, and encouraging. I have experience providing 1:1 support, including working with students with additional learning needs, and I aim to create a calm and motivating environment where students feel confident to grow.
My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but also to help students develop strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of English.

I offer structured and supportive Grammar School Entrance Preparation for students aiming for 11+ exams and selective school admissions.
My lessons are designed to build both academic skill and confidence, with a strong focus on:
English comprehension (fiction and non-fiction)

Grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure
Verbal reasoning and exam-style problem solving
