About Matthew
I grew up in a military family and joined the military during college. So I've lived in 11 different states (and 1 other country, Japan)! I've worked as a graphic designer, a bomb diffuser, and a Christian minister. This unique experience has given me a great appreciation for learning new things about the world! My goal as a tutor is to bring others on the adventure of discovering and appreciating new things!

Everyone is different, so I want to help people with where they are at and how they learn the best!
I start by getting to know my student: goals, hopes, dreams, hobbies. We spend a bulk of the time going through new material and practicing. At the end I'll give some tips for practicing on your own and other resources that might help. Each new lesson starts with a review of the last one.
I have a broad range of professional and life experience: military, living overseas, college minister and mentor.
I love to help total beginners up to intermediate level of knowledge.
