About Mary
I have been tutoring for just over a year previously at a tuition centre where my students ranged from primary to AS level, in both groups and 1-2-1 settings.
Many of my students achieved above a B in the GCSEs but we still waiting for this years results day to see any improvement.

I am currently doing my masters in Biomedical Sciences, so obviously I absolutely love science. I hope to get my students as excited as I am about the way the body works and how Biology, Chemistry and even Physics are just different aspects of a bigger picture.
- Each lesson we will set goals by looking at what the student struggles with or results from last lesson's homework.
- Then we will go through a topic by looking at from various angles, using videos or drawing out diagrams
- After doing so, there will be a chance to practice some questions or have casual conversation about the topic as if the student had already gotten a degree (this is important as this will highlight the students level of understanding)
