About Juno
I'm Juno and I'm a first-year master's student at UNSW, doing a Master's in Interpreting with the language pair Japanese-English. I started learning Japanese in secondary school and pursued it until the end of high school, where I took the British GCE 'A' Levels for H2 Japanese. I took four semesters of high-level Japanese in undergraduate and worked as a Japanese language tutor for the Japanese department while also offering personal conversation practice lessons with my own clients. I have JLPT N1 certification.

I have taught conversational Japanese and introductory Japanese language lessons for teenagers and college-age students. Depending on the student's language level and their desired areas of focus (reading, writing, speaking, etc) classes vary from 1 to 1.5 hours long. I am open to teaching secondary school students to adults seeking to learn a new language.
As a masters student in Japanese I am fluent in professional Japanese as well as colloquial Japanese. I believe in using materials that are interesting to the student to teach, and building a curriculum that is both enjoyable and challenging.
