About Urvashi
Bachelor of Science (completed 2019) in Psychology and Biology with 8 years of tutoring experience (since high school) in Pre-Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Trig, etc. Currently tutoring Pre-Calculus and hoping to continue helping students whilst working towards getting my Masters in Science degree.

I like to understand where the student is coming from, what type of learner they are, and then help them the way they learn best. My significant knowledge of psychology (including child/adolescent and learning psychology) has allowed me to assess others' learning skills sufficiently enough to help them achieve their goals. I believe in making math and science fun, and love using drawings and spatial cues!

Details
My rate highly depends on what the student needs. Re-teaching concepts at a high school level costs approximately $20/hour, but I would charge less for elementary and middle school. University-level courses may be up to $25 depending on needs. I am available to help over text and prepare worksheets for an extra charge (depending on course). Travel costs depending on location, but able to meet at University of Manitoba and nearby businesses for no extra cost. Group lessons cost less!! Ask me for more info.
