Super Tutor

Sam is one of our best Math tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Sam

I love to play sports and stay active outdoors. My favorite things to do include snowboarding, basketball, hiking, and camping. I am going to be student teaching in the fall of 2026. I love math do a great job breaking down the concepts. Please reach out if you need any help with math, science, or standardized test prep! Please call or text at Eight Four Seven, Seven Zero Seven, Zero Six Three Eight. (number is spelled out so it isn't blocked by system).

About the lesson

The first session is always free! Usually I chat a bit with the parent/student to get acquainted and figure out what the student needs out of our sessions. Then, we either go over assignments or study for an upcoming test. I offer the opportunity to answer questions about the material and make up targeted practice problems on the fly. I also will help the student make note sheets to further solidify their understanding of specific math/science concepts. I can assign additional assignments at no charge to support the learning process with extra practice. The extra work is essential for doing well on the SAT/ACT. For those sessions, I ask that the student does the practice problems I assign outside of our time together. I am also a resource for the student outside of the paid time. For example, if you have any questions about the material, you can reach over text and I will send work/explanations.
