About Dhruv
Hi, I’m Dhruv! I’m a Grade 11 student studying AP Calculus BC. I enjoy helping younger students make sense of math and develop confidence in their abilities.
As a student myself, I understand how confusing math can feel when a classroom explanation moves too quickly or uses unfamiliar terminology. Sometimes, all you need is someone to slow down, explain an idea in everyday language, and approach it from a different angle.
I create a supportive environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I introduce mathematical vocabulary step by step, connecting it to examples that make sense to you.
I take preparation and clear communication seriously, and I’ll come prepared to help you make steady progress toward your goals.

My approach centres on helping students understand why a method works and how to apply it independently. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice, adapting the pace to each student’s needs.
A typical lesson begins with a short review and a few questions to identify any gaps. We then work through a challenging concept together before the student practices independently. We finish by reviewing key ideas and identifying what to practice next.
As a Grade 11 student studying AP Calculus BC, I bring strong subject knowledge and a fellow student’s perspective. I understand how helpful a patient explanation can be, and I encourage students to ask questions freely.
My lessons are for students in Grades 5–9 seeking homework support, test preparation, stronger foundations, or additional challenges.
