I work with math students who are struggling as well as students who would like to get ahead. I work with my students to build their confidence so that when their next class, quiz, or assignments comes, they remember relevant, real world lessons we've had that they can easily apply to their work. I use questions, drawing, diagrams, and whatever my students need to help make math reasonable, relevant, and meaningful for them. On a more basic level, I can help with homework, study skills, assessment prep, etc.
