About Corey

I am a university student who enjoys helping others learn and improve their skills. I have experience teaching swimming lessons and working with people of all ages, from young children to adults. Through these experiences, I have learned how to communicate clearly, be patient, and adapt my teaching style to different learning needs.

I understand that learning something new can sometimes be challenging, and I believe that having someone who is supportive and willing to explain things in different ways can make a big difference. I enjoy helping others build confidence and reach their goals.

As a math tutor, I want to create a positive and comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My goal is to help students understand math, improve their skills, and feel more confident in the classroom.

My lessons are designed to help students understand math and feel more confident in their abilities. I can help students from elementary school up to Grade 12 with homework, test preparation, assignments, and topics they find difficult.

I understand that everyone learns differently, so I will be patient and explain concepts step by step. I can use examples, practice questions, and different ways of explaining a problem to help students understand how to solve it instead of just memorizing answers.

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. Whether a student needs extra help with a specific topic or wants to improve their overall math skills, I will adapt each lesson to their individual needs and learning pace.
