About Amy
Mathematics educator with over 6 years of classroom experience working with students of diverse socioeconomic, cultural and religious backgrounds. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and am currently offering e-tutoring services to Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 students. Fees are prorated at $25/hour in order to provide flexibility and meet student's individual needs. Services are tailored to support your student with his or her current classwork and homework. I break down complex concepts into easily relatable and digestible pieces. I teach by example, explanation and student practice. No busy work here or unrelated task, this is direct help with classwork/homework assigned to students in school/university. I can provide extra guidance and problems if needed. I encourage students to ask questions and not feel ashamed or embarrassed when they don't understand; math can be challenging. I love teaching and look forward to supporting students as they pursue their own individual goals.

Details
Lessons are prorated at $25/hr so if you only need 30 minutes of help then you only pay $12.50. I do not mind hosting small groups of 2 or 3 if you'd like to split the cost with others. Payments are made securely through the Cash App (other payment options can be arranged).
