About Aiden

My name is Aiden and I am an Applied Mathematics graduate.

Ever since I was in Grade 12, I have been helping clients, classmates, and peers in math, both in person as well as through video chat applications such as Discord and Zoom to prepare them for tests and exams.

Consequently, I am actively trying to devote some of my time to help students get a better understanding of math, prepare them for their tests/exams, and guide them to achieving success in their courses.

As a math tutor, I like to thoroughly explain all key concepts of the material at hand to the student to develop a deep and genuine understanding of the subject rather than just memorization and applications.

My typical lesson plan will mostly consist of going over all the topics in the math curriculum appropriate to the student's grade level in order and in detail, starting with a very short and brief review of the previous lesson.

My approach/method of teaching greatly involves actively engaging the student during the tutoring lesson to not only ensure we are on the same page throughout, but to also make the student as comfortable as possible to ask questions and/or give their input.

In summary, ENGAGEMENT and UNDERSTANDING are the 2 key words I prioritize to ensure I am doing my best as a tutor to solidify the student's knowledge of the topic.

For in-person; clients must be from Richmond Hill.
