About Lorelei
I am a Math tutor with 7 years of experience and a PhD in Computational Mathematics. My passion for teaching comes from seeing students develop confidence as they begin understanding mathematical ideas through clear reasoning and steady practice.
I believe learning should be supportive, interactive, and suited to each student's individual pace. My lessons focus on conceptual understanding while encouraging learners to solve problems independently and think with confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy researching mathematical applications, designing educational activities, and exploring innovative teaching strategies. These interests help me keep lessons engaging while inspiring students to appreciate the practical value of Mathematics.

My Mathematics lessons encourage students to understand mathematical relationships before solving difficult questions. We study algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, probability, mathematical reasoning, and coordinate geometry using clear explanations and practical examples. Every lesson helps learners recognize patterns, develop logical thinking, and understand why mathematical methods work. I create an encouraging classroom where every student feels comfortable exploring new ideas.
As students make progress, we work on graph analysis, equation solving, mathematical modelling, estimation skills, mental calculations, and examination preparation through structured learning activities. I introduce different solving strategies that help learners approach problems with flexibility and confidence. Practice exercises, review sessions, and guided discussions improve both accuracy and problem-solving speed.
My goal is to help students become independent thinkers who enjoy learning Mathematics. Every lesson strengthens reasoning skills, confidence, and analytical ability while preparing learners for future academic success.
