About Daniel
I hold a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from University of Bath and have recently completed an MSc in Mathematics at King's College London, awaiting a formal award. My interest in teaching began in sixth form, when I would tutor my friends mathematics to help them get into university.
Throughout my studies I worked at a community school, continuing to develop my teaching experience, before starting to give one-to-one lessons again.
Mathematically my main interests are logic, algebra, and topology, and I'm particularly interested in their intersections. Outside of mathematics, I enjoy writing music and bouldering.

I am a Mathematics graduate from the University of Bath and King’s College London, with over five years of teaching experience. I offer mathematics tuition for students at KS4 and KS5, including preparation for GCSE, A-Level and TMUA examinations.
A typical lesson lasts one hour. We will usually begin by reviewing recently covered material and addressing any problem areas before moving on to practice questions tailored to the student's curriculum and exam board. For students preparing for an examination, we will focus not only on reaching the correct answer and the understanding of the method, but also on developing a precise and clean notational style that would make it easy for the examiner to award marks.
My approach is flexible; I always prioritise individual students' needs and learning styles, and tailor my lessons accordingly. I aim to help students become more confident and independent mathematicians, with a genuine understanding of mathematics, rather than simply teaching them how to memorise methods for an exam.
