About Joanna

Hello! My name is Joanna. I am an experienced maths tutor based in North West London. I love teaching maths as a subject because it can be interesting and should be fun. It is really important to get that message through to someone that may be struggling in the subject.

I am a Chemistry Masters graduate from the University of Strathclyde. I have also undertaken PhD studies in synthetic organic chemistry where I supervised undergraduate students in chemistry and acted as a mentor.

I moved to London two years ago to start a career in data science. My present job involves the use of statistical tools and techniques to solve unique business problems.

I have always been passionate about teaching and so have been a private tutor over the last two years teaching maths and chemistry. My tutoring style focuses on the main concepts of the subject and their application to practical examples. My teaching is always tailored to individual needs of the students and my goal is to help them to achieve their desired results.
