About Miles
Hi! My name is Miles and I am currently studying a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy at The University of Manchester. In my free time, I love to play piano and perform in amateur theatre. I am a firm believer that everyone can excel if given the right circumstances and I pride myself on tailoring my tuition style for each student so that they can fly. I believe that communication is incredibly important and promote the student to "teach" me. If you can explain a subject to another person, then your own understanding only grows.

I have an advanced DBS check and hold A*'s in A level Maths, A Level Further Maths, and an A in A Level Philosophy. I finished top of my year at high school and have an ABRSM Grade 8 piano qualification. For the past year, I have tutored both privately and through another tutoring platform at both GCSE and A Level standards. Before this, I would always help colleagues and classmates alike. At University, I am also Peer Assisted Study lead, meaning that I help to teach first year content to pupils who might be struggling. I also have experience working with students with Dyslexia and learning needs.
