My approach to tutoring:
I believe in straightforward, patient and focused tutoring with the aim of identifying where the student is struggling and find currently challenging, break the topic into steps and recommend additional resources, and go through worked examples.
I emphasise exam technique and applying it to questions, the real test.
Lessons are typically one hour with the aim of productivity. I am currently a year 13 student doing A levels in maths, further maths, physics and computer science. GCSE grades A* in maths and physics. Lessons are aimed at KS3 and GCSE students. I welcome students of different abilities and would adapt the pace and level of support to suit each individual.
