About Atiya
I am Secondary school Maths teacher, with a keen interest in teaching students one to one to give them the best chance at succeeding in Maths and enjoying Maths. I will work to ensure that you are confident in the key aspects of the curriculum as well as teach you exam technique, to ensure you can apply your understandings effectively to gain maximum marks in an exam.The beauty of Mathematics is that there is always more than one way to arrive at the same answer. I will provide you with the skills to be able to select your own preferred method.

I am keen to ensure that students learn procedures of Maths through conceptual understanding so as they can become avid Problem solvers, this is important to gain depth of understanding which is key to success in their GCSE’s as well as in their future careers. I believe Maths should be an enjoyable experience and students will develop skills to be able to apply reasoning to the world around them.
