About Claire

I love teaching maths in the classroom but I know a lot of students need a personalised approach and to experiment with different ways of working to 'get it'. This is why I enjoy tutiring so much. So many of my students tell me 'Oh... now I get it' as when we work 1-1 we can work out where the learning/understanding gaps are and make sure you feel confident and empowered to tackle these topics in the future.

About the lesson

I offer a 15 minute face to face consultationto establish your learning needs/objectives.

This could be exam technique to secure the grade you deserve in Y11 or ongoing tuition to help with problem areas throughout your school journey.

I take students from Y7 onwards, any ability level, and can offer catch up across the curriculum.

I can also take FE/college students resitting GCSE or accessing functional skills English and maths.

I have a proven track record in all of the above both in the classroom and as a 1-1 tutor.
