About Mayu

Hi, I’m Mayu, a native Japanese speaker from Japan, currently living in New Zealand.

I’ve lived abroad for many years and understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language. That’s why I enjoy helping students feel more comfortable and confident when speaking Japanese.

I want to teach because I love seeing people go from “I’m not sure” to “I can say this!” My focus is on practical Japanese, natural pronunciation, and real-life conversation in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Hello! My name is Mayu, a native Japanese speaker from Japan, currently based in New Zealand.

I offer Japanese lessons for learners who want to actually speak Japanese naturally, not just study grammar from textbooks.

My lessons are especially suited for:
