About Cecily
Do you want to know how to keep your voice healthy during a long set? I combine my degree and years of experience to address microphone technique and genre styling in every session. We dedicate time to vibrato control and diction to ensure you sound clear.
Once a month, we review your performance recordings to track your growth. This process helps you manage stage fear while refining your breathing control. My background as a musician allows me to offer tips that go beyond standard exercises. I enjoy seeing students find their voice.

Standing in a studio while the red light flashes requires a calm mind. I have spent 13 years working as a session player in Montreal, recording everything from pop to musical theatre. My teaching is deeply rooted in the chanson tradition, blending that technical degree with raw performance reality. Whether I am working with young kids or busy working professionals, I prioritize practical breathing control and pitch control.
Most students struggle with stage fear, so I focus on building a resilient mindset. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from McGill University, which influences my approach to sight singing and harmony. What specific genre are you looking to improve?
