About Ricardo
Being a previous math tutor while finishing my college degree really taught me to understand each topic I may have forgotten in grade school. While tutoring, no two people were ever the same, meaning they did not learn the same way. It taught me the different ways each person can look at a problem and it was my job to help them understand how to solve the problem in their own way while still reaching for the same solution.

I like to begin by first taking the time to understand each students key concepts and areas that require help and improvement, which is done through a quick examination of the grades curriculum. Taking all the concepts that need to be worked on, I plan a out an order of each topic we will work on in each lesson. Having been a Math Tutor in Avid School Programs, instead of only teaching the process that works best for me I find the solution process that works best for the student and work to get the students to own and master the abilities that suits them best. I specialize in all grade school math, physics, chemistry, and all other sciences. Having a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering I have an excellent grasp on math concepts I use daily.
