About William
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Southampton, where I'm part of the university's Formula Student team working on vehicle dynamics and telemetry — meaning I use the same math and physics I teach on a near-daily basis to solve real engineering problems, not just textbook ones. I've always found that the concepts "click" fastest when you can see why they matter, and that's the perspective I bring to lessons. Outside of academics, I played competitive hockey up through AAA growing up, so I know firsthand what it takes to stay patient and consistent while working toward a skill.
I'm looking forward to helping you build real confidence with math and physics, not just get through the next test.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Southampton, currently working with the university's Formula Student team on vehicle dynamics and telemetry — so I spend most days applying the same calculus, mechanics, and physics you're studying to real, moving systems. That's the approach I bring to lessons: instead of just memorizing formulas, we work through why they actually matter, using worked examples and real engineering scenarios to make abstract concepts click.
A typical lesson starts with figuring out exactly where you're stuck, moves through a few guided problems together, and ends with one you solve independently so we can both see what's landed. I move at the student's pace and make sure everything is properly understood before moving further.
I am looking to work with Students who are in high school and middle school. My specialties lie in math and science, but I can help out anywhere that is necessary.
