About Shajia
Hi, I'm Shajia. I'm a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student in Ontario with a strong academic background in physics and mathematics, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed. Having completed many advanced physics-based courses myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to explain difficult concepts in a clear, approachable way. I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to build both confidence and understanding, so students feel prepared and capable in their studies.

I'm an upper-year Mechanical Engineering student offering tutoring for Grade 11–12 physics, with a strong focus on building real understanding rather than memorization. My teaching approach is concept-first. I make sure students understand why formulas are being used before applying them to problems.
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of key theory using simple explanations, followed by guided practice questions to apply what was just learned. I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style, pace, and curriculum requirements.
My goal is to help students feel confident, organized, and capable when approaching physics questions, tests, and exams.
