About Nhi
As a third year undergraduate student studying medical sciences, I had the opportunity to take up a variety of different science courses including general chemistry, biology, and physics. I have two years of experience with working with students ranging from middle school to high school.Therefore, is it no question that I am highly knowledgable about a variety of science topics and do have sufficient experience with tutoring students.

Before I get started with anything, I like to receive any supplementary resources used in the student's course including the textbook and teacher's lesson plan so I am fully aware how the content is being taught in class. I also ask the student if they want to focus on any particular topic or questions prior to the tutor sessions so I can focus on those areas. My typical sessions usually start by approaching concepts that may be unfamiliar to the student and clarifying questions during this time. And these sessions end with practice problems that the student may have difficult with or problems that I provide for the student.
As a tutor, I will take the time to create summary sheets that help students understand the content better and have this as a studying resource for assessments.
