About Jeremy

My name is Jeremy Steward, and I am currently studying medicine at King's College London. I take great pride in my academic achievements, having been awarded four A*s at A Level in 2021. Moreover, I had the privilege of serving as the Head Boy of Ermysted's Grammar School, an esteemed selective Grammar School for Boys, during the academic year of 2020-2021. These experiences have cultivated in me a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and dedication to academic excellence. It is with great enthusiasm and commitment that I offer my expertise and assistance as a tutor.

About the lesson

After experiencing rejection from medical school during my initial application year, I recognized the importance of seeking guidance when it came to the application process. Applying to medical school can be challenging, and understanding how to leverage your strengths effectively in the selection process is crucial to securing a place at your desired institution. Drawing from my personal journey, which involved its fair share of ups and downs, I am dedicated to providing professional coaching and support. I will guide you through the application process, sharing insights and strategies to help you succeed in realizing your dream of entering medical school.

My approach to tutoring is centered on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts. I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to each student's unique learning style, ensuring personalized attention and targeted instruction. By leveraging my strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability, I strive to empower students to overcome challenges and develop a deep understanding of the subject matter. I am committed to their success and am thrilled to be a part of their educational journey.

With a comprehensive background in tutoring GCSE and A Level Mathematics, Science, and Religious Studies, I have garnered a wealth of experience over the course of three years in facilitating student success. During my time in sixth form, as I pursued my A Levels, I had the opportunity to serve as a mentor for GCSE students within my school, imparting my knowledge and guidance in the areas of mathematics and religious studies. Following the completion of my A Levels and during my subsequent gap year, I embarked on a rewarding journey as a private tutor, specifically assisting an A Level student in mathematics. Throughout these experiences, I have adeptly delivered lessons to both small groups and individuals, skillfully tailoring my teaching approach to suit the unique needs of each student.
