About Thomas
I am a medical student at Newcastle University. I am from South Africa and moved to England 3 years ago. I have improved my teaching skills through coaching tennis for 2 years. Communication is also a very important skill for a teacher to have and I have honed this through playing team sports my whole life, this was further improved since being at medical school as I have had to communicate with patients on a regular basis.

I feel the best way for me to help teach you is for me to communicate to you prior to the lesson to find out what section you are struggling with the most. This allows me to tailor the lesson to your individual needs. I believe for subjects for maths and chemistry it is best to practise as much as possible, while biology it's best to use active techniques to help not just parrot learn the content but to actually commit it to memory. I am able to teach all ages up to A-Levels.
