About Daniel
I am a first-year medical student at NYMC. I have a degree in biochemistry and a minor in global health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Here I both competed in Division 1 Track and Field and assisted in hosting youth camps during the summers. I have 1 year of experience assisting high school students of varying abilities with chemistry, biology, algebra, and calculus. Further, I am a former member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Cloud MN.

I have 1 year of experience tutoring high school students of varying abilities, and several years of experience as s youth sports coach. My methodology for both tutoring and coaching is essentially the same. As your tutor, I will meet you at the level that best suits you. I always come prepared for each session with a robust knowledge of the material and an organized plan of what should be accomplished. I utilize mnemonics, metaphors, and other "mind hooks" to make complex topics more digestible depending on a student's need. Most importantly, I provide a supportive and collaborative environment so that every student feels comfortable enough to ask for clarification if they don't understand something.
