About Imran
Hi, I'm Imran, a third year med student. At school, chemistry was my favourite subject, having studied it in my GCSEs and A-Levels. I was lucky enough to have done great teachers and really supportive parents that enabled me to do really well academically, having scored all 9s and A*s throughout school. I know well how tricky scientific concepts can be at first, but a little bit of simplifying makes it much easier. I'll share with you the tips and tricks that helped me ace my exams.

I will be teaching students chemistry at GCSE level. Lesson lengths will vary between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the topic we need to cover. In most lessons we will be using textbooks and syllabi as a guide and I'll add any additional information as required. I always like to start off with the fundamentals of chemistry like atomic structures and bonds to see any gaps in knowledge and fill them in before moving onto more challenging topics. I believe in providing students with a core set of knowledge based in conceptual understanding which develops their scientific thinking.
