About Zeke
I am a passionate flute tutor with 7 years of experience and a proven record of successfully teaching over 150 students. My approach balances technical skill-building—breath control, tone, finger technique, and rhythm—with creative and expressive musical exercises.
I adapt every lesson to the student’s pace, abilities, and goals, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable. I also provide instruction in sight-reading, music theory, and ensemble work, giving students a complete musical foundation. My aim is to guide students towards becoming confident, expressive, and passionate flautists.

My flute teaching methodology is focused on creating a personalised, adaptable, and motivating learning environment. I start by understanding each student’s learning style—visual, auditory, or hands-on—and design lessons that fit their strengths and pace. This ensures lessons are engaging, effective, and enjoyable.
Flexibility is at the heart of my approach. I modify exercises, repertoire, and practice routines according to the student’s goals, progress, and musical interests. Collaboration is emphasised through duets, ensemble exercises, and group activities that build confidence, timing, and expressive musicality. Positivity underpins every lesson, fostering a supportive environment where students feel inspired to take risks, explore creativity, and celebrate achievements.
In addition to flute instruction, I provide lessons in music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology balances technical proficiency with expressive creativity, helping students grow into confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.
