About Andrea
I worked in the corporate world for two years, and in that time I managed college-age interns and volunteered tutoring for middle-schoolers. Prior to that, I worked with children ages 4-6 and tutored high schoolers. I have experience working with people of all ages, and very much enjoy teaching and mentoring. Few things are as rewarding as seeing someone finally understand a tough topic!
On my own I love to bake, tinker on a hardware project, play music, and check out events across the city.

When tutoring students, I go beyond just helping them finish homework. I make sure to go through the recent class material to explain anything that might not have clicked, and I will ask questions and write quick problems for the student to solve. Since math and science classes typically build on previous lessons, I also make sure to go over old tests and cover any gaps that might be there too.
I'm specifically open to tutoring: Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus (including AP AB and BC), and Physics (including Physics C: Mechanics). If there is a subject not listed but related, reach out!
I was a straight A student in high school, scored a 5 on several AP tests, and a 2200 on the old SAT test. I've tutored high school students in the past and have been told that I'm warm and good at breaking down topics. I love seeing the people I tutor feel confident with the material!
