About Peter
How does an individual ensure their practice time translates into tangible growth? I create weekly practice modules that act as a roadmap for students to follow between our meetings. Since I hold an MMus, I guide students through the complexities of music theory with ease. Teens and returning learners appreciate the clarity I bring to posture and technique.
Performance focused students find my feedback on intonation and orchestral playing to be quite useful. I remain committed to helping you develop a disciplined and effective approach to the instrument.

The sound of a perfectly tuned violin string marks the beginning of my daily routine. I bring 13 years of experience to my work with 429 students who value precision.
My training at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal provides the structure for every technical exercise. I emphasize sight reading and ear training to ensure a complete musical education.
Rhythm and timing receive constant attention during our sessions. Proper posture and hold are nonnegotiable elements of my approach.
Classical repertoire serves as the primary vehicle for developing orchestral playing skills. I maintain a calm environment where details are prioritized. My teaching relies on clear communication of fundamental concepts.
