About Dolly
Completing an MMus at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama grounded my technical rigour. You will notice that my 13 years of experience in classical repertoire and ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep shapes how I guide students towards tone production and consistent vibrato. Building technique remains my core focus since music has been my life since childhood.
This methodical approach ensures that building sight reading skills and rhythm accuracy stays grounded in the joy of playing for everyone I teach. My aim is to help you play with confidence by balancing strict control with musicality.

Intonation struggles often stop progress when practising difficult double stops or shifting alone at home. Recording playback of tricky passages for home practice serves as my primary tool to resolve these specific barriers.
I leverage my degree to analyse your playing, offering clear feedback on tuning by ear and bow distribution. Having practised for 13 years, I understand the importance of slow, deliberate repetition in fixing timing issues. I provide the steady hand you need to refine your technique.
