About Yu
I am currently studying at Monash University. I specialize in tutoring Mathematics for Year 9–10 students. With a strong academic background and a patient teaching approach, I focus on helping students clearly understand key concepts and improve their problem-solving skills. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and encourage them to ask questions and think independently. My goal is to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve better academic results.

My teaching style focuses on helping students build a clear understanding of mathematical concepts while developing strong problem-solving skills. I adapt my teaching methods based on each student’s learning pace and foundation. By breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps and using examples and practice questions, I help students gradually build confidence in tackling challenging problems. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps strengthen their analytical thinking.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and includes reviewing previous material, explaining new concepts, and practising questions together. I am currently studying at Monash University and mainly tutor Mathematics for Year 9–10 students. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their confidence and interest in learning mathematics.
