About Tansy

I am an enthusiastic and motivational teacher, performer and songwriter who has graduated from the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music with a BA (Hons) in Songwriting.

I am a relaxed teacher who tailor lessons to each individual to maximise the enjoyment of each lesson, whether it is in singing, piano, or song writing and production skills, whilst also helping students understand the importance of music theory and the correct approach to learning an instrument.

I am a very versatile teacher who has the ability to teach genres ranging from Pop to Classical as well as other styles such as Jazz and Soul to anyone of any capability.

So if you need help with:
• Writing songs and learning how to record them at home
• Understanding music theory
• Developing your tone, pitch, range, riffs and runs and vocal control
• Music production techniques

About the lesson

I cater to each individuals needs to make sure they are getting the most out of the lessons but also making sure they are enjoyable! I also make sure to help the students understand the music theory behind the pieces they are playing and singing.
