About Jaspinder
I'm a 3rd year MPharm (Master of Pharmacy) student at De Montfort University, currently working towards becoming a registered pharmacist. Biology has always been at the core of what I study, and I love the subject just as much now as I did at GCSE, which is exactly why I want to help students build that same confidence in it.
I know exams can feel overwhelming, especially with how much content GCSE Biology covers, so my goal is to make lessons feel supportive rather than stressful. I focus on breaking things down clearly, checking understanding as we go, and making sure students leave each session actually feeling more confident rather than more confused.
I have previous experience helping students grasp difficult concepts and improve their exam technique, and I bring that same patient, structured approach to my tutoring now. I'm reliable, organised, and take preparation seriously you can expect lessons that are planned with a clear purpose, not made up on the spot.
Whether your child needs help from the basics or is fine tuning revision before exams, I'm here to make Biology feel manageable and, hopefully, even enjoyable.

My approach to tutoring:
I break GCSE Biology down into manageable chunks rather than throwing everything at once, starting with the core concept, then linking it to exam style questions so it's clear how the knowledge actually gets marked. As an MPharm (Master of Pharmacy) student, I use real clinical and pharmacological examples to make topics like the circulatory system, enzymes, or homeostasis stick rather than feeling abstract. I'm patient and go at the student's pace, and I always leave room for questions rather than just powering through content.
Lesson length: Typically 1 hour, though this can flex depending on what we're covering, shorter for focused topic revision, longer for full past paper practice and feedback.
My experience: I previously tutored, helping other students with their understanding and revision technique, which gave me hands on experience explaining concepts in different ways until they click for different learners. I'm now a 3rd year MPharm student at De Montfort University, so GCSE Biology content is second nature to me and I know exactly what examiners are looking for.
