About Adeel
I hold a First Class (Hons) degree in Psychology from Queen Mary, University of London, and a Distinction in my MSc in Early Child Development and Clinical Applications (Developmental Psychology) from University College London. Holding the highest degree classifications in both my further education pursuits, both from Russell Group Universities and world class institutions, has given me an excellent background in academia, exam technique, and knowledge. I also currently work as an Assistant Psychologist, using the skills and knowledge gained from my degrees in a meaningful way to assist children with mental health difficulties. This means I am constantly keeping up to date with current shifts in literature and scientific practice within the field of psychology. I have also worked for one year at an SEN college for learners with complex autism as a Learning and Behaviour Specialist. This has given me exceptional skills in adapting teaching for different abilities and a mental toolkit for how to inspire.

I offer engaging, student-centred tutoring for A-Level and GCSE Psychology, with a focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and polishing exam technique. My teaching style adapts to your needs, whether that means breaking down tricky concepts, reinforcing core content, or helping you on how to write exemplar answers. I use a mix of discussion, visual aids, scientifically backed memory techniques, and real-life examples to make psychology come alive. Lessons can also include interactive tasks, timed practice questions, and revision games. Sessions usually last 60 minutes, with scope for longer deep-dive sessions or shorter revision boosters, depending on what suits you best. I have 1 year's experience as an SEN tutor, over 3 years' experience in child mental health work in the NHS, and experience delivering tutoring to children in my home town. I am adaptable, and can teach a wide range of ages and abilities.
