About Kyle Andre

The biggest lesson I've learnt as a university lecturer is that 'I DON'T ALWAYS HAVE THE ANSWERS.'

I don't mean to say that as an excuse if you have a question and I'm unable to find myself with a solution to your problem. Teaching is a vocation, and a lot of teaching revolves around learning.
Therefore, us working together is a two-way street of communication. If you tell me how you best learn, I can adjust and learn more about my teaching style as well.

Don't think of this as 'only me' imparting knowledge to you 'the student'. We learn together in this setup.

About the lesson

My approach to my lessons revolves around a lot of facilitative work. I don't just teach theory but I showcase examples, real world examples of where psychology can always be seen. If I decide that I want to give you an activity, the reason for that activity is so that I can level convoluted and theoretical models and make them easily understandable.

At its core, psychology is a very interesting subject. Learning about human behaviour and thinking is definitely one aspect of it and theory is the way that the field itself is communicated to other people. Oftentimes, theory can be daunting especially for the undergraduate student that's learning psychology. However, it's the experience and impact of learning that subject that sticks to a person. I'll try to be as impactful as possible.
