About Jack
I hold a BSc (Honours) in Psychology and an MSc (Distinction) in Health Psychology from the University of Southampton. I’m passionate about the study of human behaviour and sharing this knowledge with others, and I have published two research papers in academic journals.
I also have an in-depth knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis, and have conducted primary quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research in collaborative research teams.
I spent 10 months during my postgraduate degree mentoring final year undergraduates with respect to exam preparation and dissertation writing, and have also delivered multiple Health Psychology lectures to second year university students at the University of Southampton. I'd now like the opportunity to be able to share my knowledge with others and provide tutelage and mentorship that will help you achieve and exceed your academic goals!

I base my teaching methods on your specific requirements and need, whether that be understanding concepts and ideas, assignment help, essay writing, or exam prep - together we can get it covered.
I've successfully undertaken psychology courses at A-level, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate levels, so I can also offer advice and ensure you're fully informed when exploring the next steps of your academic career.
I like to think of my teaching methods as 'student-centric'; your learning needs are placed at the centre of the session and I'll deliver materials to make sure we reach the desired learning objectives. This will involve providing detailed sessions to comprehensively cover topics in a careful and considered manner, offering constant feedback throughout and remaining open to any questions at any time.
A typical session might include a learning objective overview, a deep-dive into the specific topic area(s), a task, a discussion of the wider topic area, a conclusion, and opportunity for any closing questions.
I can also help with essay writing and how to get the most out your essays in terms of structure, content, and critical evaluation, to help you sharpen the tools you need to land in those higher grade boundaries.
