About Vaibhav

I am a cybersecurity professional with real-world experience in areas such as penetration testing, incident response, threat detection, and cloud security. I currently work in a hands-on security role, dealing with real incidents and helping organisations strengthen their security on a daily basis.

I hold an Masters in Applied Cybersecurity from a Russel group University and enjoy staying sharp through platforms like Hack The Box, where I have achieved Pro Hacker status and placed in the Top 20 in TCS HackQuest. I also hold industry certifications including CEH and CHFI. And currently planning to obtain Hacktehbox certifdications to my portfolio if I can make time for it.

I enjoy teaching because I know how confusing cybersecurity can feel at the start. My approach is practical and fairly easy to follow as I focus on explaining concepts clearly and helping students learn by doing it themselves. Whether you are just getting started, studying at university, or preparing for certifications or interviews, I am willing to attempt to tailor each session to your goals and pace to the maximium possible extend.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is heavily practical and hands-on. Cybersecurity is often taught as a theory-heavy subject, but in the real world, reading alone is not enough. You can study concepts for hours, but without actually applying them, very little truly sticks. That is why I design my lessons around doing first and understanding through practice.

A typical lesson focuses on real scenarios, labs, and exercises rather than slides or long lectures. We will work through tools, techniques, and workflows together, and I will explain the theory only where it adds real value. You will spend most of your time actively working for example; analysing traffic, exploiting vulnerabilities, investigating incidents, or solving security challenges—just as you would in an actual security role.

Lessons are fully tailored to your goals, whether you are a beginner, a university student, preparing for certifications, or aiming for a cybersecurity job. I do my best to add be at a pace that suits you, encourage questions throughout, and make sure you understand not just what to do, but why you are doing it.

My aim is for you to leave each session having built real skills and confidence, not just notes. By focusing on practical experience alongside essential theory, I help students bridge the gap between learning cybersecurity and actually working in it.
