About Shivam kumar
Hi, I'm Shivam — a Mathematics and Earth Science tutor with an MSc in Geology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Math has always been my first love: I've spent years applying statistics, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving to real scientific data, and I bring that same precision and clarity into every lesson I teach.
What sets me apart isn't just academic credentials — it's real-world experience. Through multiple field research projects, I've analyzed data, prepared detailed technical reports, and explained complex findings clearly to teams and supervisors. Techniques & Methods
I teach mathematics as a way of thinking, not a set of rules to memorize. I break problems into clear, logical steps, use visual models (graphs, diagrams, geometric shapes) to make abstract concepts concrete, and connect math to real-world data and patterns — drawing on my own experience applying statistics and quantitative methods to scientific analysis. For earth science, I use the same hands-on, example-driven approach, bringing in real fieldwork to illustrate concepts like rock formation, structural geology, and earth systems.
