About Desmond
My lessons tend to be short, since I am well aware of attention spans, no more than 30-45 minutes before a break. I have tutored to 1st year Biology students at university level, and I tend to be very casual with my tutoring, but I do instill a degree of confidence in struggling students.

I am comfortable with one on one tutoring, necessitating TEAMS. The length of the lesson will be no more than 30-45 minutes, which is the limit of anyone's attention before a break. If the student wished to continue, that is fine by me. I tutored at several Universities over my time, up to third year,in microbiology, mainly. I can certainly tutor both primary and secondary students, but it very much depends on the subject. I mainly teach the biology branch, and my specialty is plant pathology. As head tutor of 1st year Biology at LaTrobe University, I also offered my services to tutor second year biology: microbiolgy, biochemistry, botany, but excluding genetics. I cannot guarantee A's but I can pull up struggling students to Cs and Bs. I try and break things down if the student does not understand, and there is no such thing as a stupid question.
