My teaching approach focuses not only on building knowledge, but also on building life skills (e.g. problem-solving, time-management, study habits). A typical class will begin with a warm-up targeting important previous knowledge, a lesson on new content, and time practicing and incorporating all the concepts.
I also create homework to facilitate learning outside of class. I'm very responsive, grading and responding to HW and questions within 12 hours.
